On Saturday 9th April in beautiful sunshine the Annual General Meeting of the Staffordshire Society was held beginning with a service in St. Andrew’s church at Weston, Staffordshire. We began at 10.30 with a service conducted by Rev’d Philip Daniel, this was followed by a short drive to Weston Hall where we had coffee before the busness side of the day with the Annual Meeting.
We gave our thanks for all the hard work and dedication given in the last two years by our retiring Chairman, Mrs. Val Keeling, We have had many varied events and visits during her term of office.
We welcomed our new Chairman Mr. Keith Williams who was nominated by Val Keeling and seconded by a member from the floor.

After the meeting members were treated to a fine meal of roast turkey and vegetables followed by apple pie and cream.
